Denzel Washington and Viola Davis looked happy Monday night on the red carpet during the premiere of their critically-acclaimed drama, Fences.

The stars are reprising their roles for the film, which was adapted from the August Wilson play of the same name.

Viola ravished in a black and fuchsia gown that hugged her toned figure in all the right places.

She wore her short hair wavy around her face and finished off her look with dark eyes and a red lip, while walking the red carpet with her husband.

Denzel, who also directed the film, looked dapper in a black suit that he paired with a white collared-suit and blue tie.

The 61-year-old star was joined by his wife Pauletta, who looked way younger than her 66 years in a sheer turtle neck top and and knee-length black skirt.

She wore her dark hair up in a sophisticated bun and kept her makeup fresh and clean with a dollop of red lipstick as the focal point on her face.

The two highly-acclaimed actors lead the rest of the cast down the red carpet as they got ready to premiere their latest film, including Russell Hornsby who plays Lyons Maxwell.

He walked the carpet with his?wife Denise Walker, who stunned in a silky blue long-sleeved wrap dress and gorgeous blue necklace.
